Pathetic. I contacted Morgan & Morgan needing representation regarding medical damages/malpractice and didn't even get to speak to an actual attorney.

I instead was asked a maximum of 5 questions by a "screener" in a call center who barely spoke English who told me they would not take my case. When asked why, she said she didn't know as she isn't an attorney.

Seriously?

Thankfully I found a firm who actually cares about their clients, said I have a textbook case and I am seeking damages to the maximum extent of the law.

Your screener just lost you a 40% cut.

Not like TV Lawyers

Great case manager, legal secretary, paralegal, but when I asked them, "Does my attorney know what he's doing? He seems to be a bull$#!tter?" the demure, self-protective response was "Yes, he's qualified."

Events proved otherwise.

First bad sign: he's reading his email during the first deposition, paying little attention to what's going on. A question arises, since M&M Disability got me Social Security Disability in a slam dunk, "Are you saying you were disabled by this injury?" Attorney, caught reading his email, says nothing in response.

Afterward he says, "It went fine."

He left an underling to handle the subsequent hearings, so now he's really out of the loop and barely paying attention.

One would think the bar for cognitive ability of a personal injury attorney would include a fair grasp of medical terms and logical thought processes around presenting the injury to the arbitrator so he wouldn't just listen to the defense's disputations.

"You have over 70 pages of medical records," he said, the night before the arbitration hearing, five years into the case, "so I'm going to give the arbitrator some crumbs of information and let him pore over the records and come to his conclusion."

Participating in this from the standpoint of a brain-injured party to a personal injury case, I was presuming my attorney with the slick silk suit and the assertion that he's the top performer in the office and it wins him a trip to Hawaii, was making an excellent judgment call on my behalf. He gave off the aura of having some sort of tactical sense. I shouldn't have taken that as proof he could perform against opposition. He let his pride in his performance cloud his judgment of what he could make the arbitrator do.

I should have remembered how he said to me, after he sent me across the state for a specialized MRI and the radiologist's report came back, "I have no idea what the *** this means."

I felt a little twinge of concern that he wasn't putting in any time to understand the case, and was just marking time until the insurance companies were willing to sit down in fear of M&M.

The day of the arbitration came, and my attorney spent his/my 20 minutes in front of the retired judge referring closely to his notes, reciting arcane medical terms at a pace you'd hear in an advertisement when they're paying by the minute. No explanation of how this is relevant, or how any of this proves the injury for which he's making a request of several times the policy limit. You could say his argument was infected with cognitive errors.

He then left the next 20 minutes for the defense to point out that he hadn't proven a thing.

The arbitrator had the time between just before Christmas and first week in the new year to come up with a judgment. Do you think he wanted to spend that time, when he could be spending it with family, sitting for hours, rummaging through my records to find the case my attorney neglected to make?

All my attorney could say when the judgment came down was "I'm f*@Ked." No sir, I'm the one who is f*@ked.

"He usually gives me what I ask," my Morgan and Morgan attorney explained, as a justification for the squib outcome.

I had thought, seeing all the TV advertisements, that I was getting the most qualified team for my serious, life-impacting injury.

After the judgment was given, the accounting statement showed my tiny proportion of the settlement. "It's standard procedure," he explained, that they squander a bunch of my future settlement on "experts" whose expertise they didn't use to argue my case.

The arbitrator determined that I had failed to prove my injury. If I had known it was my responsibility to prove the case, and not my attorney's, I would have hired somebody to teach him what to say in front of the arbitrator.

Lesson learned.

Don't expect the attorney to behave like he's in a legal procedural on streaming service or TV. The people in the TV ads are actors, not happy clients.

Tip for consumers:

Look elsewhere. The huge number of attorneys in the firm only improves your chances of getting a loser. Nobody to watch them all bumble. Try someplace where there are two or three attorneys.

Morgan family has gotten so big they have forgotten the people or they are not hireing enough attorney because they are so over load and these attorneys could careless please listen when I tell you look for another firm these people are so mean and inconsiderate tour feelings and you are paying them for this kind of treatment is like insanity do the same thing over with no results I hope this reaches plenty of people and they to understand why not use these people they are just ugly company that only cares about themselves and not you the person they want the fastest results without the right pay and they ignore you when you need TO talj with them.I can't express enough how horrible this experience has been for my uncle and my family we feel like we are ignored and disregard at all times and wish that we didn't have to pay them what they are asking cuz they are not worth the price you pay with the mental anguish they put you thru is not devastating then the actual accident in itself.

After hours of putting together an e-mail to present online spoke to an intake person who allegedly spoke to one of their lawyers and then informed me that they would not be able to assist me with my case which originated in 2022 the statute of limitation for auto accidents in Pa. is two years. when asked, the intake person would only say that the statute of limitations had nothing to do with their denial of service . It's a joke and does not support their commercials. Not recommended, seek assistance elsewhere.

We had a car accident and got Morgan and Morgan to represent us. We are very disappointed, our case manager has been changed several times now and so has our Lawyer. We have never been told when the case manager changed or why so we are left not knowing, I just had a "feeling" that something was wrong. If I hadnt called, our case would probably be on a shelf somewhere. You expect to be compensated give me one reason why. Thank you Family Oren

I settle a month the real reason I settle because I really needed money and the lawyer knew that so he told me to settle for lower and I kept saying no finally I agreed because I was promise to be paid by end of year still no money this whole process has been BS no replies most of the time never called like he said he would I was never prepared I always went into everything blind I really need to speak with someone because this isnt the Morgan & Morgan from the radio cause my lawyer didnt make me feel like yall really are for the people as in me

Don’t hire them if you need help

I was in a serious accident and needed help. Numerous voicemails & text messages went unanswered.

I hired a new law firm, fired Morgan & Morgan and suddenly they wanted to talk to me.

When I said no thanks, they sent me a letter stating that it was not worth it to take my case. They have become too big to care about their clients.

Maybe check a dictionary? My new attorney reached out to me within 30 minutes, looks like I made the right decision to fire your firm. Looking at the reviews, communication seems to be a big issue with your company.

What about u meeting your legal team a year later over the phone but they want to be smart with the ones who have been nothing but patient! All because of there mess up.. I have gained emotional aniexty very much high from going thru so much unprofessional things. Even the lady from client experience. She need to be removed because client experience is supposed to be for the clients expressing themselves not been told to shut up! The lawyer that Morgan and Morgan assigned to my case was HORRIBLE!!! He slept during our depositions. It always took him 8 weeks to get important paperwork to me and every time he would say he would never do it again, but continued doing it. He was not a fighter, he would let the other side do whatever they wanted and when I asked why he would say, I don't want to upset them. I will continue to inform everyone that Morgan and Morgan is a fraud.

My husband passed away at Orlando Regional medical on7-29-2023.. my bank investment professional was the one that had me contact Morgan and Morgan because the hospital gave my husband the wrong medication the night of 7-28-2023.

We contacted Morgan and Morgan and was given the lawyer Scott Knockler. After all if my(spouse) gave 361 page's if minute by minute info if my husband's hospital stay.. SCOTT KNOCKLER told me that "sorry, Mrs. Bush, but we cannot talk to"potential defendent witnesses," to tell us, along with all of my name's, times, medications, etc..we cannot contact them.

REALLY??? Is exactly what I said to Mr. Knockler. What is the use???

I will tell YOU or anyone seeking Hospital Abuse from Morgan and Morgan..forget it!!! They are "ambulance chasers," ONLY!!! Believe me, I know. I have zero reasons to review this law firm...

I'm doing fine now, without the help of Morgan and Morgan, attorney Scott Knockler!!! Morgan and Morgan does NOT try to help people involved with Orlando Health.. Period!!! You will NOT find a case against Orlando Health regarding Morgan and Morgan!!!

I wonder why. Pretty simple to me. Give Scott Knockler at Morgan and Morgan and see how that goes!!

You’re so stupid. You have no idea how legal cases even work.

You obviously went with them as attorneys because there was no upfront fee then you call them ambulance chasers. Well then, your next step is to sever ties and go hire an attorney that you give a huge retainer to and pay hourly. You can play Law & Order all you want then. All while paying $300*/hr.

My daughter's SSI got approved with retroactive payment over a year ago. Still no payment received. We called SS office, they said they were going to send a letter to the firm. They should've paid my daughter by now. Still no answer from the lawyer. We have letters to prove the case. We have tried calling numerous times and no response.

I slipped and fell in a grocery store because of water on the floor from a leaky refrigeration unit. It was captured on store surveillance. I injured my wrist and my medical bills were $1,000. After several months of no contact from Morgan and Morgan they finally contacted me just to let me know they canceled my case because the mri didn't show significant damage. Guess the "payday" wasn't big enough for their firm.

Very unprofessional. They shame other firms for not being bigger but, they are too big and busy to handle even small task such as returning phone calls. Rude, hang up in your face, take advantage of vulnerable people. They show me all the red flags not to proceed with them.
